Mustang Engine
A looks at the spark plugs that came out of
The Ripper. The numbers indicate the
cylinder if that wasn't obvious. The look pretty
good compared to others. They have been in
the car for a few events, but the last few were
with the DamBest Carb and not the Holley.
Overall they look pretty good. You can see
some mixture issues with end plugs running
a bit richer then the middle ones.

The Ripper FLog
This section of the site is for Engine related aspects
of The Ripper. The engine is a 331 Ford Aluminum
SVO block. Running Canfield heads and a 3.25"
stroke. Pistons are Ross dome hung on a set of
Oliver billet rods. Pan is a Aviaid deep sump. Cam is
a MECHANICAL roller from Crower. Intake is a
Edelbrock Victor with a DamBest Carburetor.
Headers are custom made stepped to a Dr. Gas X
Pipe and 3" all the way back to mufflers with turn
downs.
This is a short of the engine in the car. This
was back in 2003 when the first engine
broke. I was in process of removing it. The
RaceMate Alternator can be seen as well.
