How to Measure Bolt Pattern on Wheels 4, 6, 8 Lug


Having a mix of Chevy, Ford and other vehicles it's often confusing which bolt pattern fits what. If you are trying to find if a rim will fit your car this easy to use measurement will tell you . You could hit Amazon and buy one of these Wheel Gauge or Templates. They are cool and I'll likely get one at some point, but you really don't need one. It's really very simple to measure your wheels bolt patter with a tape measure or ruler. Do this before you buy wheels or you might be using it to fit some wheel adapters to your non-fitting set...

These are done in the BIG EZ Read format. For wheels with 4, 6 or 8 Lugs you simply measure across a pair of opposite lugs and measure from CENTER to CENTER.
