Mini Cooper Firing Order

This is the Firing order for the Classic Mini Cooper 4 Cylinder engines. Not the later BMW version of the Mini. This applies to possibly other cars that use the same engine and configuration but not being knowledgeable in this check with someone who is. Let me know and I'll add it to the list as well.

I think this will apply to Mini's from 1959 to 2000, again NOT the new Mini, which BTW is not really mini at all.

Why now an EZ read for the Mini Cooper Engine? Well I get on these tangents looking at cars I love and saw that Mini-Mania sells a VTec Conversion subframe for the Mini. I always wanted a Mini, but was not keen on the engine/trans package. I have seen a few VTec around here in So. Cal and though what a cool project. (Mini Subframe from Mini-Mania)

Use this information at your own risk and seek the help of a knowledgeable mechanic before acting on this information.

So if you want to cut and paste the Classic Mini Cooper Firing order it is 1-3-4-2

Sorry BMW folks, your car is not mini or a Mini.
